Pivot Point Calibration Check

Use a cut test board to check whether the saw-head pivot calibration is correct. This is a visual verification procedure; it does not replace the complete calibration process.

What a correct result looks like

The reference image below shows the expected cut pattern for a properly calibrated pivot point:

On the test board, compare the 30° cut line on the middle-left side with the 60° cut line. When the pivot point is correct, these two lines align horizontally.

Perform the check

  1. Use a straight, stable test board that is suitable for the complete cut pattern.
  2. Confirm that the machine is otherwise operating normally and that the blade, centerline, and angle positions have not produced an active fault.
  3. Run the approved pivot-point test pattern.
  4. Remove the board only after the cutting cycle is complete and the machine is in a safe state.
  5. Place the board on a stable surface and compare the 30° and 60° cut lines.

If the lines do not align

  • Do not judge the result from a rough or damaged board edge; repeat the check with a suitable test board if necessary.
  • Photograph the complete test pattern and a close-up of the two reference lines.
  • Record which saw head produced the test, the observed offset, and whether the result repeats.
  • Do not change the pivot point repeatedly to compensate for another mechanical or position problem.
  • Contact Enventek Support for the correct calibration procedure if the misalignment is repeatable.

Final verification

After any approved calibration change, cut another test board. The 30° and 60° reference lines must align horizontally and the result must repeat before the saw is returned to normal production.
