Overview

PlantOne Projection displays digital truss information, custom measurements, and production timing information on TVs or projectors. Multiple displays can be used as an ultra-wide workspace so assembly information is visible where the crew needs it. Always verify the displayed job before using the information to assemble a truss.

Before You Begin

  • Only trained personnel should operate or troubleshoot the PlantOne Projection system.
  • Confirm that the displays or projectors are securely mounted and that their vents are not blocked.
  • Inspect visible power, video, and network cables for loose connections or damage.
  • Do not open a display, projector, or computer enclosure while the equipment is energized.
  • Keep a reliable source drawing or job record available for comparison during startup.

Daily Startup

  1. Power on the displays or projectors and their associated computers using your site-approved startup sequence.
  2. Confirm that each display is set to the correct input and shows the PlantOne Projection application.
  3. Verify that all displays are active. On a multi-display system, confirm that the information continues across the screens in the expected order.
  4. Load the correct job using the approved workflow from your production software.
  5. Compare the displayed truss identifier, dimensions, plate locations, and other critical information with the source job record.
  6. Confirm that the truss timer and other production information are updating.
  7. Begin assembly only after the job and display information have been verified.

Normal Operation

  • Keep the active job synchronized with the truss being assembled.
  • Use the approved job-change workflow before moving to the next truss.
  • Use the timer and production information to monitor workflow, but do not allow production targets to override required quality or safety checks.
  • Stop work if a display freezes, shows the wrong truss, or disagrees with the source job record.

Display Troubleshooting

A Display Is Blank

  • Confirm that the display or projector has power.
  • Verify that the correct input is selected.
  • Check accessible power and video-cable connections.
  • Confirm that the associated computer is powered on.

One Screen Is Missing or Not Updating

  • Check power, input selection, and accessible cable connections for that screen.
  • Confirm that the associated computer and network connection are active.
  • Use only the approved restart procedure. Do not repeatedly disconnect power while the computer is starting.

The Wrong Truss or Measurements Are Displayed

  • Stop assembly.
  • Confirm the active job and truss identifier in the source production software.
  • Reload the correct job using the approved workflow.
  • Verify the displayed information against the source record before resuming work.

The Image Is Misaligned, Cropped, or Distorted

  • Stop using the affected display for assembly guidance.
  • Check that the display or projector has not moved and that nothing obstructs the projected image.
  • Do not change scaling, resolution, or projector-alignment settings unless authorized by Enventek or your site administrator.

End-of-Shift Checks

  • Finish or safely close the active job.
  • Record display, network, timer, or data problems for the next shift.
  • Follow the approved site procedure for shutting down the displays, projectors, and associated computers.

If Enventek instructs you to replace a display computer’s storage card, see How to Replace the microSD Card in a Display Computer. For unresolved display, software, or network problems, contact Enventek Technical Support at 269-815-4150.

What Correct Looks Like

  • The correct job and truss information appear on every assigned display.
  • All displays update together as production advances.
  • Measurements, timers, and custom information are legible and not cropped or distorted.
  • No display remains blank, frozen, or on the wrong input.
