Load Labels in the Sticker Printer

The sticker printer uses a label roll and an internal take-up reel for the waste liner after each label is peeled. Correct label orientation and liner routing are required for reliable feeding and peel-off detection.
Before loading
- Use the correct label size and roll specified for the printer.
- Remove torn labels, loose adhesive, and liner scraps from the media path.
- Confirm that the peel-off sensor and rollers are clean.
- Open the printer only while it is stopped; keep fingers, jewelry, and loose clothing away from the rollers.
Label orientation and routing
Install the roll with the printable label surface facing up. Route the material through the guides shown in the diagram. Separate the labels from the liner where required, then attach the excess liner to the integrated take-up reel.

- Center the roll and guides so the labels feed straight.
- Keep the liner flat and tensioned on the take-up reel; do not route it over a sensor or guide edge.
- Rotate the take-up reel by hand enough to remove slack before closing the printer.

Verify after loading
- Close and latch the printer covers.
- Use the feed control to advance several labels.
- Confirm that the media stays centered and the take-up reel collects the liner evenly.
- Print multiple test labels and confirm that each label is presented, detected, and removed without a constant sensor-blocked warning.
- If labels drift, wrinkle, or fail to advance, stop and recheck the roll orientation, guides, liner path, and peel-off sensor.
