How To: Tension The Centerline Chains

NOTE: This article is only relevant for saws with our newer centerline chain drive system. This article is not meant for saws with the older “Joyce Actuator” centerline drives.

Step 1: Using the saw software, go down near the minimum position, then raise the centerline back up to 0-2-8.

Step 2: Remove the grey cover from the centerline, there are (2x) 7/16″ bolts holding the cover in place.

Step 3: Use an Allen wrench to EVENLY push down (to tighten) or back off (to loosen) the bolt & nut that act as the shaft for the idler sprocket .
