3rd Scrap Drive Information (GS23 Only)
After you have the 3rd VFD installed, powered on and wired up correctly, you will need to program these settings into the VFD using the up down arrows on the VFD itself.
Wiring:
Aside from the other power wires to and from the fuses and motor please make sure these wires are also added.
Add a wire from R1 on DR31 to FWD on DR32
Add a wire from R10 on DR31 to DCM on DR32
VFD Programing:
Drive #31
02.13 = 1 (this sets the Multi-function output (r1) to “Indication during RUN”)
Drive #32
00.20 = 7 (this changes how the speed is controlled on VFD 32 (by the potentiometer OR the up/down arrows on the LCD)
00.21 = 1 (Sets “Operation Command Source” to external terminals)
00.22 = 1 (sets STOP method to “Coast to Stop”)
01.12 = 3 (sets acceleration time to 3s)
01.13 = 3 (sets deceleration time to 3s)
09.00 = 32
09.01 = 19.2
09.04 = 14
Lastly, If you think you screwed something up and want to factory reset the drive:
00.02 = 0 (this factory resets the drive)
Note: you would need to reprogram all the above settings again afterwards.
