VC1: Remove the Jumper

Step 0: Turn off the main power to the machine.

Step 1: Take the plastic cover off of the top of the VC1 using a small regular screw driver.

Step 2: Locate the jumper.

Step 3: You need to look and see if the VC1 has a “Shunt” jumper or a standard jumper. If it has a standard jumper remove it using a pair of needle nose pliers (just pull it straight up and out)

Blow is a picture of the Standard Jumper, this is what you want to remove.

Here is a picture of the “Shunt” Jumper – you want to leave this in the VC1 if it has one (about 1/2) of the VC1s have them in a saw.

Once it is removed you are all done. Just power the saw back on.
