Cable Pull System (Emergency Stop)

The cable pull is used to activate the Emergency Stop mode for the saw or conveyors.
When the cable is pulled or has excessive slack, the system will enter Emergency Stop mode.
It is essential to maintain the correct tension in the cable pull to ensure proper functionality.

Tension Adjustment

To adjust the tension, use the indicator with a red line and an arrow:

  • If the arrow is to the left of the red indicator, the cable needs to be tightened.
  • If the arrow is to the right of the red indicator, the cable should be loosened.

Resetting Emergency Stop

Once the cable has been pulled and the Emergency Stop mode is activated, it must be reset. This can be done by pressing the blue button located on the front of the cable pull switch.

Guidelines

  1. Regularly check the tension indicator.
  2. Adjust the cable tension as needed.
  3. Reset the Emergency Stop mode using the blue button after activation.

By following these guidelines, you can effectively operate the Cable Pull and Emergency Stop function, maintaining the correct tension and ensuring the system operates safely and efficiently.

Wiring

The Cable Pull has two wire sets that leave the stationary electrical panel:

  • One wire goes from terminal 71 and exits the stationary electrical panel on wire 29, which then goes to the cable pull switch.
  • The second wire leaves terminal 72 and goes to the cable pull switch on wire 34. Both wires should have 24vdc on them. They then go through the cable pull switch and exit on wire 30, which goes to terminal 73 in the stationary enclosure. The second wire exits the cable pull on wire 35 and goes to terminal 74 in the stationary enclosure.
